Periodic Evaluation of Researchers

The section takes a comprehensive view of the activity of CNRS units and researchers. Please refer to the template provided on the Evaluation website (do not exceed 15 pages, excluding references). In its evaluation process, the section will pay particular attention to the following criteria:

  • Research progress (existence of a clear research project, visibility within the field).
  • Quality of scientific output
  • Research ethics (data availability, publication of preprints, preference for non-profit or community-based journals rather than predatory ones, appropriate consideration of the published literature, compatibility of research activities with sustainable development and gender equality).
  • Scientific project management
  • Integration within the host structure
  • Supervision, teaching, or technology transfer activities
  • Collective responsibilities (involvement in local and/or national scientific life)
  • Dissemination of knowledge and science outreach activities

These criteria should be adjusted according to the researcher’s grade and throughout their career.
